few newbie questions...?? (running processes list?)

how to see list of running processes... in kubuntu i used to press "ctrl + esc")
any ideas??

also installing tar.bz files..... basically i want to install dropbox. they have ubuntu (7,8,9) installers (deb) on their website and source tar.bz
what is best method for doing it
1- should i simply download ubuntu version, how to install it??
2- downloading source and isntall/make it by myself?? ( manual approach)??

as dropbox runs as a service and works with nautilus. i can install nautilus from synaptic and turn on "run gnome processes" at start

1- how to see running service in xfce panel??

ok, i isntalled debian files via "sudo dpkg -i name.deb"
it works, thanks again.

current processes list is still issue.

btw: i m testing on HP pavillion laptop. everything is working as expected except wifi. if someone could shed light, will be great

Hi lala,
What version of animux are you running? Also, can you let me know your network card information?
the command ps -eaf| more gives you the list of processes running.
