some question about Animux

hi . i find animux in mancandy FAQ Links . i have some question . im linux user after find Animux for find more information about animux im go to www.distrowatch.com but i cant find any information , why ? is Animux based on any linux distro like , debian , arch or ubuntu or etc. which pakage manager animux use for installing package , and the important a question is aminux support ATI Radeon HD 4670 model ? is it linke ubuntustudio or openartist or it has a new idea behind it ?

The best information you will get on animux is  at www.animux.org. We may not be registered at distrowatch.com yet is what we think. Animux is linux based on debian and hence uses synaptic as package manager for installing or upgrading packages. It does have ATI drivers for you to test.

The difference with Animux is that it is animator centric. It comes with more tools that an animator could use than any other distro. For eg. it has 8 renderers, 3 render farm managers and plenty of other tools that are useful for an animator.  You can set up a renderfarm just booting into the liveUSB/LiveCD discs which you cannot do with other distros. The key goal is to take out the need for animators to be linux savvy system administrators.
